Making the Transition From Graduate Studies to Consulting Engineering Practice
Over the past 25 years it has become increasingly common for engineers with advanced degrees (MS, PhD) to work as consulting engineers.  Many engineering firms now recognize the value that engineers with graduate degrees can bring to their consulting practice, particularly if the firm is involved with innovative or technologically challenging projects.  In this presentation, and the follow-up discussion, we will explore the skills and mindset necessary for engineers with graduate degrees to succeed in a consulting engineering practice. Presented by Dr. Andy Taylor.
